Kortney turned 1!!!

I can't believe our little baby is already 1, she is so much fun. She loves life, loves to smile, LOVES TO DANCE, gets into everything, and likes to put a smile on anyone and everyones face. She loved her cake or maybe I should say frosting. She fed the cake to Tucker. She started walking at 13 months, She is 50% for her weight, height, and head, so I guess her chunky thighs are normal. We are loving every minute with her.

A little trip to the ER

Kort has been sick since about Friday, she has had a fever off and on, and just hasn't been acting the way she should. I took her to the Dr. and he said she just has a virus and there is nothing we can do. Today I noticed that she was just acting way too sad and clingy. When I got her up from her nap her temp. was 103.6 so I called her Dr. and they sent me to Urgent Care, Urgent Care sent me to the ER. So we spent 4 hours at the hospital and they took millions of tests on my poor baby. They gave her some fluids through an IV because she was so dehydrated. Come to find out the Dr was right she just has a virus, there is nothing they can do. We will be headed back tomorrow for another round of fluids in her IV.

Isn't this just a sad picture of Kort. She is sick, and well this is just what she has been doing all day. I feel so bad for her. Poor thing.

Box Car

Our ward had a primary activity and the kids were supposed to make a car out of a box and they brought them to the church for games and a movie. Katie LOVED making her car. She had to wear her construction hat. Here is the finished product.



Katie's car was called KTBUG, that's what the licence plate read, she also was the only one with an ignition, plus an awesome steering wheel.

Peeling Potatoes

Katie wanted mashed potatoes for dinner, so I told her she would have to help me peel potatoes so that we could make them for dinner. I showed her how and after peeling 1 potato this is how she decided it was easier. Smart girl!

A Proud Daddy

I am married to a reptile lover. Lovely, I know. The rule is if you chase mommy with the snakes then she gets to kick them. :) I just don't care for them all that much, but I love Mike. Anyway in our aquarium we have snake-Sam, who is eating the mouse, Snake-Beth eating the fish, snake-baby who is Beths only surviving baby, frog-Java who loves to eat the crickets. The kids in the neighborhood bring crickets and grasshoppers for him and get paid 5 cents each bug. Our new addition, a hermit crab. Plus the millions of fish we have to buy for Beth and baby. This is a video from a proud daddy. Ignore my nagging in the back ground if you can hear it. Mike decided to tape this when we were supposed to be in the car going somewhere.

Spring Break

We had a wonderful Spring Break, the only thing that could have made it better would be the sun. We started out the week going to Midway with the Palmers, we did some hiking and playing at a park the first day, since the sun was out. We rented our timeshare there and the kids had so much fun playing games together. The adults had fun playing games all night also. :) It was a blast. Here are a few pictures from the week.
